Sahih Al-Bukhari is the most respected hadith collection in the Muslim world. Imam Muhammad ibn Ismail Al-Bukhari gave sixteen years of his life to gathering and checking these authentic sayings of the Prophet Muhammad. Out of more than 600,000 hadiths he studied, only 7,563 were kept after an extremely rigorous process of verification.
