Hisnul Muslim: discover the authentic hadiths of the fortress of the Muslim
The Hisnul Muslim, translated as "The Fortress of the Muslim", is a precious compilation of prophetic invocations and supplications. This collection gathers the most authentic duas drawn from the Quran and the Sunnah, together with their detailed references in the recognised hadith collections.
Among the best-known invocations is the one for waking: "Al-hamdu lillahi alladhi ahyana ba'da ma amatana wa ilayhi an-nushur" (Praise be to Allah who gave us life after having caused us to die, and to Him is the resurrection). This dua is reported by Al-Bukhari in his Sahih. The morning and evening invocations also hold a central place in this collection.
The book also contains the formulas of protection recited after each prayer. The invocation "Allahumma a'inni 'ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni 'ibadatik" (O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You and to worship You in the best way) is reported by Abu Dawud and An-Nasa'i. These supplications strengthen the bond between the believer and his Creator.
