The strength of the community in Islam lies in mutual help and spiritual support. This page lets Muslims the world over share their concerns and ask for duas for their own situations.
Whether for an important exam, difficulties at work, health problems or tensions at home, every trial deserves particular attention. Collective duas carry immense strength in our tradition. When several believers call upon Allah for the same cause, their prayers strengthen one another.
The process is simple: you set out your situation with respect and sincerity. The community can then pray for you using the appropriate duas for your request. Some prefer to recite these supplications after their daily prayers, others during their moments of dhikr.
The most frequent requests concern the health of loved ones, success in study or work, marital problems and financial difficulties. Every situation has its place here. Respect for privacy matters: you may stay anonymous or give only the details that are needed.
This draws on the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, who encouraged believers to pray for one another. The angels call upon Allah in favour of anyone who prays for their brother in his absence, according to an authentic hadith.
Alongside the duas asked for by the community, you can enrich your spiritual practice with daily dhikr. That regular practice strengthens the connection with Allah and brings calm in difficult times.

How do I ask for a dua on Muslim Alim?

What categories of dua request are there?
Six categories are offered: Health (illness, surgery), Exams (success in study), Work (employment, a project), Family (marriage, children, tensions), Deceased (mercy for someone who has died) and Other. These match the most frequent requests: the health of loved ones, success at work, marital or financial difficulties.
May I ask other Muslims to pray for me?
Yes. The Prophet ﷺ encouraged believers to call upon Allah for one another. According to an authentic hadith reported by Muslim, when a Muslim makes a dua for his brother in his absence, an angel replies: "Amin, and the same for you". Asking for duas is therefore a legitimate practice, as long as one keeps in mind that Allah alone answers and that sincerity of heart remains essential.
Is my dua request anonymous?
You give only a first name (or a pseudonym) and only the details you wish to share. No surname and no contact details are asked for. It is best to stay general about sensitive situations and not to name third parties in an identifiable way. A button also lets you report inappropriate content.
Which dua should I recite for someone?
For someone ill, recite Allahumma Rabban-nas adhhibil-ba's ishfi antash-Shafi; for someone who has died, Allahumma ghfir lahu warhamhu (O Allah, forgive him and have mercy on him), reported by Muslim.
