Jumaa Mubarak — the blessed day of Friday in Islam
Friday (يوم الجمعة, Yawm al-Jumu'ah) is the most blessed day of the week in Islam. The Quran devotes a whole surah to it: Surah Al-Jumu'ah (62). Allah commands the believers to hasten to the Friday prayer and to leave off trade at the call of the adhan. It is a day of gathering, of dhikr and of supplication.
Among the recommended practices on Friday: reading Surah Al-Kahf (a protection against the Dajjal for a week), sending abundant blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ (the best prayer you can make for him), and making dhikr and duas — especially near the time of Asr, when there is a special hour in which prayers are answered. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'There is an hour on Friday in which, if a Muslim prays during it and asks Allah for something, He will grant it to him.'
